We Believe
- The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.
- There is one God who eternally exists in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
- In the deity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His bodily return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.
- Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. No man can come unto the Father except by Him. (John 14:6)
- The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. We must believe in our heart and confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and personally accept His redeeming grace. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation - you must be born again. (Romans 10:9-10)
- In Water Baptism by immersion, and is a direct commandment of our Lord (Matthew 28:19) and is for believers only. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. (Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:26-39)
- In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.
- The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body and soul in answer to prayer and faith.
- The sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling enables and empowers the Christian to live a holy and consecrated life.
- The resurrection of both the saved and lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
